Jenna & The Telepath
~ SHORT SEDUCTIONS | STORY 4 ~
Sitting at the only table with a single glass of red wine and no other empties littering the top was a tanned and more handsome than should be legal Kolton Lansing.
Damn him, Jenna thought as she assessed the terror who watched her from halfway across the room. The left side of his mouth quirked. He glanced at his full glass of wine, then back at her, and Jenna’s knees nearly buckled.
In the darkened room she couldn’t enjoy the pale blue color of his eyes. They were the lightest blue she’d ever seen. Not quite gray, but barely blue. They worked perfectly with thick waves of light brown hair, picking up the blond highlights scattered over the top of his head from so much time in the sun.
A dark suit hugged his broad shoulders. The collar of a crisp white shirt was unbuttoned, the tie removed. The white shirt appeared to glow between the suit and his well-tanned skin.
Not one tan line existed on the man’s tall, muscular frame. A point Jenna originally found more intriguing than she wanted to admit.
Kolton licked his lips, drawing Jenna’s attention up to watch his tongue glide over his full bottom lip.
She wondered if his chin was smooth or if he’d let the day’s growth of beard remain before coming out for the night.
Stubble, just the way you like. The thought floated into her mind, and in spite of wanting to yell at him for planting it there, Jenna couldn’t stop her body from reacting.
Anticipation surged within, and the simple thought of perfect bubbled to the forefront of her mind, followed quickly by the idea of him on his knees at the edge of the bed, cheek brushing along the insides of her open thighs before his mouth came to her.
A grin moved over Kolton’s mouth. My thoughts exactly.
Jenna clenched every muscle she could, including the ones in her head, wishing that if they became hard enough they’d deflect his ability to read her mind.
He chuckled. Come on. Let’s have a drink. He lifted his glass toward her before bringing it to his lips.
